Mabinogi Heroes Campaign

Back ground

Gained huge attention among users for its graphic/action quality and creativity, after launching. But soon, due to the lack of management, users started to break away from the game. New characters were introduced in order to break through this downturn.

1. Various concepts were made to deliver identity and essence of the new characters and action.
Summer (character with big sword) : An action shock to shiver your instinct
Winter (character with spear): An outrageous adventurer Lin!

2. Dualized marketing channel with unusual marketing plan. Conducted commercial with strong action on TV/Online and BTL that would easily deliver our brand identity.
Minor channels with easy contentss were selected to target an age group of 1020.

Result

Summer Campaign
Recorded more than 50,000 concurrent connection, doubled the number of usage in internet café, moved up in the game rankings for 3 weeks.
Winter Campaign
Recorded more than 100,000 concurrent connection (highest number ever), doubled the number of DAU compared to summer, moved up in the game rankings for 4 weeks and took 12th.
